When you deploy AI Builder from Azure Marketplace, we collect:

• Azure subscription information (for licensing and billing)
• Deployment metadata (region, resource IDs, deployment timestamp)
• Usage metrics (AI requests, storage, embeddings, container deployments)
• Technical logs (errors, performance metrics, API calls)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Validate and enforce subscription licenses
• Track usage for billing and metering purposes
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting
• Monitor system health and performance
• Improve product features and user experience
• Comply with legal and regulatory requirements

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely in Azure:

• Deployment Data: Stored in your Azure subscription (you control it)
• License Data: Stored in our License Server database with encryption at rest
• Usage Metrics: Aggregated and anonymized for billing purposes
• Security: TDE encryption, HTTPS only, Azure Key Vault for secrets

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

• Microsoft: Billing and metering data via Azure Marketplace
• Azure Services: Infrastructure providers (compute, storage, database)
• Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights

5. Your Data Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data (request a copy)
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your data (upon subscription cancellation)
• Export your data (portable format)
• Opt-out of non-essential data collection

6. Customer Data Ownership

Important: Your data (databases, projects, files, queries) belongs to YOU.

• Data is stored in YOUR Azure subscription (not ours)
• You have full control over data retention and deletion
• We do not access your data unless you grant explicit permission for support
• Data is encrypted with YOUR Azure Key Vault keys

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use minimal tracking:

• Essential Cookies: For authentication and session management
• Analytics: Azure Application Insights for performance monitoring
• No Third-Party: We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies

8. International Data Transfers

Your data is stored in Azure regions based on your deployment choice. We comply with:

• GDPR (European Union)
• CCPA (California)
• Other applicable data protection laws

9. Data Retention

We retain data as follows:

• License Data: Duration of subscription + 7 years (for tax/audit)
• Usage Metrics: 13 months (for billing history)
• Technical Logs: 90 days
• Customer Data: Deleted immediately upon subscription cancellation (your responsibility to backup)

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
